BIRTH DOULA SERVICES

As a doula, our goal is to help empower you during your transition into motherhood while supporting and advocating for your choices, whatever those may be. A doula provides evidence-based information and support to expecting families, helps the birthing person explore their birth experience options, and reassures them during this life-changing event.

​Doulas listen to your fears, encourage partners to be involved however they choose to be, explain and demonstrate comfort measures throughout labor, and advocate for the mother to follow her body in birth's natural, physiological process.  Ultimately, we want your birth experience to be positive, informed, and empowered, however you define it.

SERVICES INCLUDE:

PRENATAL VISITS

Typically held in the last trimester or two of your pregnancy, services include two prenatal visits where we discuss your ideal birth, creating a calming atmosphere, establish a birth plan, and more.

BIRTH AND LABOR

As a doula, I am there for you throughout the entirety of your birth, no matter how long or short that may be. I will provide emotional support to help guide you through the unpredictability of birth, physical support through comfort measures during labor, informational support, and advocacy to help ensure you are being listened to and heard throughout your birth experience. 

POSTPARTUM VISIT

Once your baby is born, we will meet one more time to review your birth experience, discuss new life adjustments, and provide support where needed. While our formal meetings end here, I am still happy to provide information and resources where needed.
